Married: Elisha + Brian

Elisha & Brian are married!  We were honored to spend the day with them at the beautiful Fore Lakes Golf Club in Kimball, MI.  Elisha is the calmest, most laid back bride I’ve ever seen, even when someone in the bridal party was MIA until literally a minute before the ceremony started!

I love cake shots and I think these are some of our favorites to date.  Elisha had candles everywhere, I pity the poor staff member who had to light them all!  But the reception room looked amazing.  You’ll see even more when I put up a proper post with more images.

The venue they chose was terrific.  Wait till you see the amazing shots we got as the sun was setting, with the reflection off the water. :)

Red roses everywhere.  Simple and classic.

I took a lot of ring shots, but this one is one of my favorites.  I stole the rings and went into the foyer during the reception, which prompted a bunch of “OMG, they let you take the rings?!?” comments from the Fore Lakes staff.  I have to admit, handling the rings always scares the crap out of me.  I always envision accidentally dropping one and watching it roll into a storm drain that magically appears out of nowhere.  I don’t think I breathe until they are safely back in the hands of the bride & groom and away from my klutzy self.

We’ve got a lot more pictures coming!  Elisha & Brian’s friends and family were great – everyone was so respectful of us and what we were trying to accomplish, even asking if it was okay if they used flash on their own cameras.  That *never* happens!  It was a beautiful day and we were delighted to be part of it.  Thanks again to both of you and good luck on your move to Lansing!
