If our first wedding of the 2009 season is any indicator, this year is going to be RAD!
Yesterday, Valerie & Nick were married at Saints Peter & Paul Church in Detroit, with a reception following at the Lafayette Grande in Pontiac. Here’s just a quick look at some of the images from early in the day. There are a lot more to come!

Say helllloooooo to Valerie. Okay, where do I even start? This girl is all kinds of awesome. We had such a terrific time shooting an earlier session with her, and by the time the wedding rolled around, we felt like we were photographing a friend. We took a few minutes before the wedding started to sneak in a few bridal portraits.

Andy captured this great moment between Nick and his dad.

This is SO going to be printed and displayed in our studio! Love it!

Being a flower girl is HARD WORK people!

I feel we really rocked the “unveiling” at this wedding!
This was my view – Andy’s will be in Part 2 of this post.

Did you people really think I would post the kiss shot in a preview post? No, you gotta wait for the next post!

These kids were too funny. We were going through our pictures last night and I’m like “Oh that’s a cute one!”, just figuring the ring-bearer was being goofy and walking all silly. Then Andy told me that he was actually mimicking him as he knelt down to get this shot. So much for us being stealthy!

In case you couldn’t tell from the opening picture of this post, the bridal party was FULL OF AWESOME! This was seriously the best limo ride I’ve been a part of yet. The bar for the 2009 season has been set high people, you better be ready to bring it!

These guys are my new BFFs. Thanks for keeping me entertained on the ride to Pontiac.
That’s it for now! We have so many more good ones to share – but we need to get caught up with our other editing. Keep watching for Part 2 of this post! Nick & Valerie – you guys were so much fun and we had a fantastic time! Thank you for making us part of your day!

Great work again, you guys! Love that first one, but my fave is definitely the bridal shot in front of tile. Nice find!
Great work guys! I am seriously impressed. I will definitely recommend you to my friends, family, strangers, that weird guy that always hangs out in the parking lot of Krogers….anyone and everyone!!! I am so excited to see all the pictures.
The only downside it that this makes the engagement pictures I took look pretty bad,ha ha! I guess that is a pretty good sign though…
These photos are Sa-weet!!! Fantastic work!
Andy and Lynn, How do I thank you for capturing the memories from the best day of our lives? We are so happy. You guys did such a terrific job. I’m going to miss you guys for a little while, but you’ll be shooting our children’s christenings and birthday parties and other family member’s weddings, etc. And we’ll have to go out for coffee and see your new studio and get our dogs and cats together for play dates. I’ll be writing tons of reviews wherever I can. Going with you as our photographer was the best decision we made for this wedding! I can’t say enough good things about you guys, but thank you, thank you, thank you!
So much time goes into planning a wedding that when the big day comes, it goes by so quickly. These photos are GREAT! As the first wk fades into the first month into the first year….. your photos will hold those memories for us all so dearly. Looking forward to seeing them all!
These pictures are AWESOME!!!! I loved every one of them so far! What amazing talent you have. I can’t wait to tell EVERYONE I know about you two! You’re one of the sis and bro’s now too! Bonus! Great pics!
Thank you for the lovely compliment! I plan to stalk your blog too – bwahahaha!
I love the beautiful detail shot of the bride’s dress (back), and the photo of the bride with tears in her eyes as she’s being escorted down the aisle really hit me in the heart!
i LOOOOOOOVE that 2nd shot!
Love these. The couple is so cute and the adoration on their faces is so evident. Awww.. Makes me melty. Love the limo shots too, so much fun!
