Kathleen & Eric’s wedding was delightful and full of great details. Kathleen was a laid back and beautiful bride and made our task very easy. We also were happy to finally have an opportunity to work with Ana and her talented team from Two Foot Creative. They did a fantastic job! And it was also great to meet Kristyn from Castle Video who we knew through facebook but hadn’t worked with before.
Kathleen really put a lot of thought and attention in her wedding decor and details, so I will be posting lots of detail shots today. :)

I’m also posting a couple more shoe shots than normal, but these shoes deserve the attention.

Eric & Kathleen opted to see each other before their ceremony. (Which we LOVE, by the way!) The had their first look at the nearby Heritage Gardens park in Shelby Twp. I love their reactions! :)

One of the standout details at Kathleen & Eric’s wedding were the inventive and fun flowers, which were done by Lynn Jovick from Clever Bumblebee Creations. (I don’t think she has a website, but here is her facebook page.) Lynn’s work is so impressive and creative. We’ve worked with her before and we were delighted when she arrived at Kathleen’s house because we knew the flowers would be great. Also, I personally love when brides do something unique with their bouquets.

So Eric is a big duck hunter, it’s one of his passions, so the florist created this amazing boutonniere with a shell, tiny duck call, bird band, and feather. So unique and gorgeous! Love it!

They had a simple and sweet ceremony outside and then it was time to party!

The duck hunting theme continued with Eric’s ring and the table cards, invitations, and seating chart. How amazing are both of their rings?

So normally, after the introduction of the bridal party, the cake cutting, and the first dance, things kind of wind down a bit right? I mean there is dancing, but everyone kind of knows from that point on what to expect. Well that was not the case at this wedding. Word spread that a special guest would be arriving, and people crowded the edge of the dance floor….waiting.
UNTIL:

ELIVIS!!!!! OMG. And let me just say, this guy played the part admirably. It was hysterical and awesome.

Thanks again to Kathleen & Eric – you guys were a blast and we had so much fun documenting your day! :)
