Going through the images from Alexis & Frank’s wedding today to assemble this blog post was so much fun. Their wedding was a feast of colors, and at the end of this grey winter, I’m ready for lots of color.
Alexis and Frank currently live in Florida, but Alexis grew up in Grosse Pointe, and they planned an intimate ceremony in her parents’ backyard with a reception at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial. Frank and his family are from the island of St. Croix, so the couple incorporated a lot of details to give the event some Caribbean flair – including a steel drum band, and colorful arrangements of tropical flowers. The day was full of vibrant colors, happy tears, and lots of laughter. Alexis & Frank wrote their own vows and it was one of the most touching ceremonies we witnessed all year.
Here are some of my favorites – warning – I’ve got LOTS of them!

Ceremony: Private Residence, Grosse Pointe
Reception: Grosse Pointe War Memorial
Florist: Thrifty Florist
Make-Up: Airbrush Michigan
