Winter, I am over you.

I am so thoroughly DONE with winter.  I’m tired of hearing about record lows, and how unusually cold it is on the news.  I want to walk my dog without my teeth chattering and put my wool coat away for the winter.  The image above?  No thanks, I’ve had enough.  Please, can we have spring now?

We got some more film back from the lab that included both old and new stuff.  I’ll leave it to you guys to figure out which was which.  :)  I think it will be pretty obvious.

For the curious, the top image was taken with a Mamiya 645AFD, and the ones below are the Hasselblad 500c/m, which I’m really enjoying.  I really love square format.  Instagram has made square format pretty trendy, but back in my twenties, I loved collecting old 620 cameras that shot 6 x 6 format. Some of my favorite photos from that time were made with inexpensive 1950′s bakelite cameras.  The Hasselblad of course is another thing entirely.  It’s a beautiful precision instrument that makes a satisfying clunk-clunk when you trip the shutter.

Now if it would just warm up so shooting outdoors is a little more pleasant.
